What to expect from a PEDICURE
We use a medicated, pedicutical brand called Footlogix for all of our pedicures. They are vegan friendly and cruelty-free. Safe to use throughout pregnancy and for diabetics. Their products are pH-balanced and designed to break down dead skin whilst softening and hydrating.
What to expect…
Our Luxury pedicure consists of a foot and leg soak to cleanse and soften skin and cuticles (dead skin that sits on top of your nails). We remove cuticle then trim and shape your toenails. A callus softener is applied then various gradients of foot files are used to buff away any hard, dead skin (don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt!), this gives a smooth, soft finish.
In addition to that, an exfoliating seaweed scrub is used to slough off remaining dead skin and is formulated with organic Laminaria seaweed, polished pumice and essential oils (lemongrass, Vitamin E oil, spearmint and mandarin).
Lastly, to finish your pedicure we will select an appropriate moisturising mousse for your foot type and end with a foot and leg massage, leaving your feet super soft.
Our Deluxe Pedicure includes all of the “Luxury” above, plus a paraffin wax treatment. Soft, melted wax is brushed onto feet then wrapped up for insulation. This is left to dry hard, then peeled off to reveal baby-soft, supple skin.
Extra benefits of paraffin wax
Paraffin wax can help to reduce swelling in muscles, decrease inflamed joints and improve circulation. It can also help with dry skin and eczema. Not only will you have moisturised skin, but the light waterproof coating left behind will help you retain the natural, beneficial oils produced by the body.

Maintaining foot health…
As well as a relaxing treatment, regular pedicures are recommended to help maintain your foot health. For instance, it keeps skin hydrated and above all prevents severe dryness that can lead to cracked heels. Here’s a few pointers to help you keep those tootsies feeling fresh until your next appointment is due.
- Moisturise feet daily with cream and nail oil, preferably at night so the product can soak in fully. This will help keep feet and nails soft and hydrated.
- Wear cotton socks and change them daily, this allows your feet to “breathe” and will help to reduce sweating. Sweating can lead to foot odour, athlete’s foot and toenail fungus.
- Pay special attention to drying in-between your toes after showering/bathing. Talc also helps absorb excess moisture.
- Don’t cut your toenails too short, or down the sides, as this can encourage them to grow inwards.
- Avoid tight-fitting footwear, as this can apply pressure on toes and toenails, resulting in swelling, breakage and can even cause toenails to lift off from the nailbed.
- Finally, to help with common foot conditions like peeling skin, cracked heels, rough/scratchy skin, we stock a range of medicated Footlogix aftercare products that you can apply at home. MANICURES
If your just in need of a quick nail clean and tidy, this is a great option.
We start by softening the cuticle area with a fingertip soak, then remove and tidy cuticles, trim and shape nails and lastly, hands are moisturised with a mini hand massage.
Feel confident about your hands and nails and add a touch of luxury on the way with a relaxing, pampering Luxury Manicure.
What to expect…
We will start your treatment with a hand bath, soaking and exfoliating your hands and arms with a gentle citron scrub, preparing your skin for treatment. We will remove and tidy cuticles, trim/shape your nails and gently buff the nails to refine the look. To finish your manicure you will receive a hand and arm massage to hydrate and soften your skin.

To help look after your hands you can use moisturisers and cuticle oil to stop skin from drying out or cuticles cracking or encouraging “hang nails” (bits of broken, loose skin around the nail). Products are available to purchase from our online shop or in-salon.
Waxing
Firstly, at Nataya Beauty, we are always conscious of our clients well being and skin sensitivities. At every stage of our waxing treatment we aim to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. For instance we have a heated beauty couch so you don’t get too cold and we always have some light music in the background to help you feel at ease.
As well as being comfortable, in addition to that we use the Lycon Precision Waxing system, a world leader in waxing technologies. It’s uniquely strong (the strongest on the market) but astoundingly gentle. The rights to their special formula and technology are owned by Lycon which in turn means it cannot be copied.
Strip wax and Hot wax
The “Strip Wax” is designed to be used for legs and arms, and the “Hot Wax” (actually has a lower temperature than strip wax) is used for more sensitive areas. They include face, underarms and sometimes back waxing.
The Lycon brand uses the finest Australian resins, natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils. Clients will find it’s renowned for its elasticity compounds, hence the reduction in pain whilst removing hair. Delivering superior performance while removing stubborn hair even as short as 1mm.
The wax has a low temperature formula, which is perfect for short, stubborn hair on any part of the face or body. It can be re-applied on the same area many times without the wax feeling too hot and without skin irritation.
How does it work?
For our hot wax application, a pre-waxing oil is applied. This acts as a barrier for skin and as a result it can give a 50% reduction in pain compared to other wax products on the market. Lycon wax shrink-wraps around the hair (not the skin) as it cools, and removes hair from the root giving long lasting hair free skin.

Cleanse and exfoliate the skin prior to your treatment. If you suffer with ingrown hairs, we recommend using a dry, firm body brush before showering. This helps to remove dead skin so the hair can break through. Wear loose clothing on the day to help prevent irritation.
Your health and well-being is important to us so we recommend following the advice listed below. This will ensure you gain the most from your Lycon waxing treatment whilst caring for your skin:
YOU SHOULD…
- Wear loose clothing for areas that are being waxed.
- Apply after wax lotion or suitable homecare products to soothe the area.
- Exfoliate the area 3-4 days after the treatment to help prevent ingrown hairs. Exfoliate at least 3 times a week.
- Keep your skin moisturised daily in order to help prevent ingrown hairs.
DO NOT…
- Apply perfumed products or deodorant to the area for 12-24 hours.
- Have hot baths or showers for 12-24 hours.
- Use a sun bed or sunbathe for 12-24 hours.
- Swim or do other forms of exercise that will heat or aggravate the skin for 12-24 hours.
- Touch the area excessively.
- Avoid sexual activity for 12-24 hours.
SPRAY TANNING
MoroccanTan is natural-looking, certified organic, vegan and cruelty-free professional spray tan.
MoroccanTan is also alcohol, Sulphate and Paraben-Free. The Moroccan spray tan is also infused with organic oils such as argan, rosehip and vitamin E, so helps to soften and moisturise, which in turn nourishes the skin making it long lasting.
Because it has a speedy processing time (between 1-4 hours), it means you won’t need to sleep in you tan overnight. After that, you can shower off and go! MoroccanTan will continue to develop for a further 10 hours after your 1st shower, so don’t panic when you’ve washed off your guide colour, it may look lighter or like it’s disappeared (that’s normal) it just needs time to develop.
MoroccanTan is a quick-drying, Argan oil spray tan that goes on flawless, streak-free and is suitable for all skin types.

Moroccan Spray Tan Original Range:
For pinky / red toned skin, this formula has a green base to counteract orange tones, giving a natural looking tan.
This spray tan uses a quick-drying, no-sticky formula which is absorbed deeply into the skin, leaving you with an instant tan. The blend of argan oil and vitamins nourishes the skin while giving a longer lasting tan.
Moroccan Spray Tan Exotic Range:
For warm, yellow / olive toned skin, this formula has a violet base in order to counteract orange tones, giving a natural looking glow.

Advanced colour-blending and triple enhanced bronzers leave your skin glowing with a deep bronze exotic tan.

GET READY FOR YOUR TAN
- Ensure you have showered and exfoliated thoroughly in the days leading up to your tan appointment
- Wax or shave 8-24 hours prior to your appointment
- Do not apply moisturisers, body oils/butters, deodorant or perfume before your tan
- Bring dark, loose clothing and footwear to wear after so as nothing rubs against the skin
MAKE SURE IT LASTS
After your tan and before your 1st shower you will need to look after your skin with the following precautions:
- Do not wash hands or get wet after your spray tan
- Avoid activities that make you perspire
- Avoid using soap or shampoo with your 1st shower
- Pat body down carefully to dry off, do not rub
- Do not apply moisturisers, body oils/butters, deodorants, perfume to the skin immediately after a spray tan and not until your tan has fully developed (8-10 hours after your 1st shower).
For all tans (excluding 16%)* you can leave your guide tan on between 2-4 hours, after that you can shower off using your hands until the water runs clear. Your tan will fully develop a further 8-10 hours after your 1st shower.
*16% tans should be washed off between 1-2 hours.
